LIVING ROOM BEFORE:
When we purchased our home I took before photos of the home empty. The home had old dingy carpet so we decided to rip it out and replace it with hard wood floors. It made the room look bigger and brighter.
Vaulted Ceiling in the living room, the wall is where our closet is located in the hallway. I have no idea what to do with this space. Any ideas?
LIVING ROOM AFTER:
Once the wood flooring was down the fireplace was painted white. I decided to paint the brick rather than spending an arm and a leg on tile. It turned out really nice, but it was still missing something.
I've added a lot more photos and artwork on the walls since this photo was taken, but you get the gist. I'll update the photo.
So my wonderful brother in law made me a fireplace mantel. Next project will be to paint the fireplace a dark brown or cooper rather than this ugly brass color that we have there now.
The other side of our living room. As you can tell, I have no idea what to do to the wall next to our tv, in our dining room. I think I'm going to turn it into a wall of photos, but I haven't decided yet.
I would like to replace the TV storage unit with this one from ikea. I love what we have now, but the storage is not ideal for the dvd storage that we need.

I repainted the cabinets white and added new handles given to me by a friend, which saved us a ton of money. Then we ripped out the laminate flooring and installed wood flooring. I added pops of red to bring the space together. Future projects include more artwork, curtains or roman shades for the giant window, and possibly teal instead of red.

MASTER BEDROOM BEFORE:

The biggest part of our bedroom. The photos don't do this room justice, its actually a very large room.

MASTER BEDROOM AFTER:
I wanted our bedroom to have a romantic feel to it. I love stripes so I painted the room what I like to call Seattle sky blue and darker grey stripes. Future projects include ripping out the carpet and replacing it with wood flooring and a rug, making curtains for the large window, and making an upholstered headboard for the bed. All projects that require time and money. It will take time, but I'll get to it.
I still have a few things to hang up and quite a bit to do to make the room have the feel that I would like it to have, but its a good start.
This photo was obviously taken right after we moved in so there are still boxes and baskets everywhere. It doesn't look like this anymore. Looks like I need to get on the ball and take updated photos.
I would like to purchase this dresser from ikea. It would look so nice and sleek. 
I would also like to get two of these, one on each side of the dresser. These 6 drawer chests are amazing. The top holds jewelry and has a mirror that folds down when you are done, also from ikea. On my side I would use a drawer for bras, undies, socks, jammies, and work out clothes. On brad's side I would user a drawer for his belts and belt buckles, undershirts, boxers, socks, and workout shorts. It would free up a ton of space in our master closet since its so packed now.
The hallway going into our master bedroom after. We updated the lighting, all outlets were switched to pewter, and we painted. My husband is a fan of baseball caps. He has a ton of them, so I decided to put them on hooks above the closet door. So now he has a selection to chose from and a place to store them. Again. I need to get on the ball and take photos to share with you.

BABY LILY'S NURSERY BEFORE:

I wanted to make Baby Lily's nursery the sweetest little room with charm and filled with love. My dad painted the light pink and chocolate brown stripe (since I was preggo on bed rest and not allowed to do any painting). I hand painted the letters LILY, my friends recovered a hand-me-down glider chair as a shower gift since I had no idea how to even attempt that project, and my wonderful husband put down the wood flooring. So happy I put wood flooring in the bedroom, so much easier to clean and I can't tell you how many times she spit upon the floor.

Like I said, these are photos taken of the home before we moved in so no judgement on the ugly 80's shower curtain....I would never have such a thing in our home.

I wanted the bathroom to look clean and modern. I painted yet another stripe and I repainted the bathroom cabinets white to make them look nicer. My husband tiled the counter top with these lovely tiles that we found at Home Depot. The project cost us about $100 total! Future projects include putting new flooring down and replacing the toilet.

I bought the adorable bedding from JC Penney, I love the look of it and its reversible so I can change it up whenever I want. When she came for a visit this past summer, she was so excited and loved her room so much she wanted to sleep in her own room, when before she would sleep in bed with us. I painted the room Hannah Montana blue and hand painted silver stars as a border around the room. Our walls are heavily textured so I was worried that they wouldn't turn out, but they looked perfect!

Well....that's our home. As you can see we have got a lot accomplished, but we still have so much more to do. I love projects! I have a ton of wall space and I have no idea what to do with it all. I need some creative input. If you have any ideas I'd love to hear your thoughts! Our home is a work in progress, but I love to have a place we can call home.
