While my Cousin Charrone was here I asked her to take family photos since it was the first time Laney was here visiting and I wanted family pictures done. She did such an amazing job and I am so grateful, they turned out so nice.

My Cousin Charrone is an amazing photographer! She owns Burntblack photography in Saskatoon, Saskatchawan Canada. So when she was coming this way for a visit I had to book her to take baby Lily's photos.

I'm going to be an Aunt Again!!

I am so excited to announce that my sister in law Jenn is pregnant with their first baby and is due in March 2011! I am so excited that my sister in law is pregnant and can make use of my maternity clothes since I don't want anything to do with them right now :)

Emaline & Elliot Turn 1!

The Mahoney twins turned 1! It was Lily's first birthday party! It was a beautiful day and it was held at the new church that Andy will be a pastor at New Covenant. A lot of kids were running around playing, there was so much yummy food, friends, kids cookie decorating which was such an adorable birthday party idea, and birthday presents opened.

Sleepover

Being Aunt Nikki is so fun. Anna and Marc had a date planned and asked me to watch the kids over night so we had a sleepover. It was my first time watching the kids and Lily so it was a true test to see how I would do with 4 kids. All kids were fed, given baths, put to bed, and packed up and ready for soccer the next morning successfully! I can be super mom and Auntie! Here are the kids in bed watching cartoons with Uncle Brad......Lily too. Grace being such a great helper and feeding her cousin.

Back to Work in Tears

Lily is now 2 months old and I have to go back to work since my maternity leave is over. I am so sad to be leaving her, but she is in good hands. My mother in law is watching her during the day 3 days a week while I am at work and I will work from home the other 2 days. I cried for the first 4 hours of my work day. It was awful leaving her. She had a great time. Here are some pictures of her first day with Grandma Debbie.

4th of July Parade

Brad, Lily, and I went to see the 4th of July parade on Pioneer. There was a lot of things to look at but Lily wasn't interested in seeing anyhting but the back of her eyelids. My little 4th of July baby was dressed up so cute.

My best friend Becky has been there through it all with me. We've been best friends since I can remember. She is always there no matter what. When she told me she was coming to visit and meet Baby Lily I was so excited, happy to have a little help and happy to have her company. We can sit on the couch and have a great time....its one of the things I love about her. We didn't do much while she was here, just spent time at the house and with Lily. It was wonderful....we laughed, cried, went through pictures, watched movies, laughed some more....I love spending time with my girls.

Conners

Brad and I ventured out of the house and traveled to Lake Conner to the Tesch family's RV. Everyone else went camping and we wanted to go and hang out for the day, but not camp....having a newborn in an RV all night does not sound like a good time to me. It was really cold so I bundled Lily up and put her in the cutest little pink sweater with Jordon beanie and Jordon socks.....guess who bought those for her :) It was fun sitting around the fire, passing the baby around which gave me a nice break, and chit chatting. I love going to Conner's. Its so relaxing and fun. We'll be gong there for years to come!
