I celebrated my first mothers day by bringing our baby girl home from the hospital. It was an amazing feeling. Overwhelming with happiness, fear, and every emotion in between. I was so exhausted so I couldn't wait to get home.
When we got home I was very emotional because it was the first time we were walking into our home with our baby girl and because I was sooooo tired. My brother in law Brian was mowing the lawn, my mother in law had made lunch, and my sister in law Jenn was cleaning the house. I had no worries, I could just go to bed and relax. When I woke up my parents came over to visit and help out. After my nap I felt so much better and I was ready to take on the challenge of having a newborn.....very scary, but I was so ready.
The best Mother's Day Gift ever!
