Happy Halloween

My Little Lily Bug.My little football. My football player and football. I wanted to be a cheerleader, but this costume took 5 minutes and I don't have much time to put things together for myself :) My babies. Visiting Uncle Marc and Aunt Anna and eating food at their house.

Pixy fairy, football, princess, the underwear ninja (yes he wore underwear on his head, it was hilarious), and lady bug.

Ha Ha Ha. Lily's first time knocking on the door and trick or treating at Me-Maw's and Poppy's house. At my mom's house snapping a pgoto of the four of us togetgether. Laney was a vampire, I wish I had a picture to share with you, but its on Brad's phone, she looked really scary :)

Jax's First Football Game

Three days old we decided to finally get out of the house with our baby boy and take him to the Oak Harbor High School Homecoming football game. My girlfriend Sam gave us the cutest little outfit for Jax that was perfect for this occasion, a little football sack. My girlfriend Robin gave us the adorable matching football hat, its my favorite. Our friends the Whittingham's joined us for a night out. It was so nice to visit with one another and have our kids hang out together.

Brad entered a contest a few weeks earlier that Papa Murphy's was holding. If your name was drawn you would have a chance to kick a field goal for the chance to win $1000 and pizza for a year or you could have the high school field goal kicker kick it for $500 and pizza for a year. Brad's name was called! It was so exciting and unexpected. Brad decided that we would have better luck having the high school player kick it. On the first attempt, the kicker missed the goal but then the crowd went crazy screaming for a do over. On the second try, he made the goal and the crowd cheered! The players boosted him up on their shoulders as they celebrated. Thank you Papa Murphy's for blessing our family with this amazing prize money and free pizza for a year. We have pizza every Friday so we will definetly be using our free pizza for a year!

Off of Bed Rest Day 2

Now this is much more like it :)

Jaxon Hawk

On the morning of October 17, I started having contractions 3 minutes apart. Exactly 37 weeks and I was starting to go into labor, just like I was with Lily. Brad works during the night so we decided that it was best that Lily and I stay at my parents house until the baby was born just in case I went into labor in the middle of the night and needed help. I was only off of bed rest and my medications that stop my contractions one day before I started going into labor. I'm totally grateful now that I was on bed rest to let our sweet baby Jax grow a little longer. My mother in law came over to pick up Lily so that my mom could drive me to the hospital. When we arrived they checked me and determined that I was far enough to admit me, but they wanted me to do some walking to move things along quicker. My mom and I walked all over Anacortes for 2 hours while Brad slept in the waiting room of the hospital since he just got of working all night long. We even walked to the donut house and splurged on some yummy doughnuts. When we got back to the hospital I had progressed so it was time to admit me. I was so relieved. Finally I'll get to meet my sweet baby boy. I was still having very strong contractions that hurt so they decided to give me the wonderful epidural. As soon as I got my epidural it slowed down my contractions and I stopped progressing. They checked me at around 9pm that night and I was still at 4cm, 90% effaced. They determined that they would check me again at 2am and we would see what happened from there. At 2am the nurse checked me and I could read it allover her face.....still nothing. So they decided to do a test to see if my water broke yet and if that was the cause to my labor not moving along. The test came back positive that my water had broken. No fluid came out? Are these doctors crazy? I would totally know if my water broke. The nurse in labor and delivery thought that maybe my water hadn't fully broken, the bag was just torn. So they slowly put me on pitocin to move along my labor raising the pitocin slowly every hour. I was exhausted from having contractions every 3 minutes, my stomach was sore, I was hungry, and I was really tired. I slept for about an hour when I felt this giant kick and my water broke. the babies head was blocking the exit and my water wouldn't fully break until he moved. Absolutely crazy! After my water broke things moved really quickly. I went back to sleep for about a half hour and I woke up feeling this insane pressure and needing to push. It was 7:55am the next day and the doctor was on her way to check me. I was scared that if I sneezed the baby would have come out. So I asked the nurse to check me now. I was fully dilated and fully effaced! Wooo hoooo! So everyone started to set things up, my mom woke brad up from his very comfortable sleep....he was passed out on a bed half his size with his head hanging off of one end and his legs hanging off the other end. The nurse got Brad coffee and told him that it was time to have a baby. The doctor walked in and I was so relieved. Can I push now? I really need to push! 15 minutes later they placed a beautiful 8 pound 5 ounce baby boy on my chest. I was flooded with so much emotion. Happy tears and smiles as I introduced myself to my son. I'm your mommy. I'm so glad you're here. I love you so much. He looked up at me and stopped crying. We just stared at one another until they took him over to the table to check him out. Over at the table he held on to Brad's finger the whole time. Brad was so funny telling him to be tough and not cry....he was only a few minutes old. He doesn't need to be tough yet honey. I love that man so much. Grandparents with their newest grandbaby. So 3 weeks early and I had a 8 pound 5 ounce baby boy measuring almost 21 inches long. If I made it to 40 weeks he would have been a very big boy. I have a son. Wow. I'm so in love. Jaxon Hawk......you are my everything.

On Bed Rest for a Whole Month

I was put on bed rest for a whole month since I kept having contractions and was starting to do into labor. Fot the first week I wasn't even allowed to sit. It was awful! Taking care of a 1 year old active baby girl is very difficult to do when you are laying down. People were so kind to us. Bringing us meals, cleaning our home, taking care of Lily and I, spending time chatting with me, bringing me movies. I can't believe the kindness of so many people.

Bed Rest Day 1:

First Smile of a very emotional day. My niece Madison sent me a picture of her smileing and completely made my day. She's so sweet. Bed Rest Day 2:

Lily and I watching Cartoons. I love my silly girl.
Bed Rest Day 3:
Watching Sisters FaceTime with each other. Laney is reading Lily the Catepillar Book. Lily is so excited that she screams SISSY! and kisses the phone.

Bed Rest Day 4:

My girl Janielle came over and made me breakfast, cleaned the house, and took care of Lily. I am so grateful for her help and friendship.

Bed Rest Day 5:

Still Smiling. Physicially have bruises on my arm from laying on my side. Only 4 weeks to go.....sigh.

Bed Rest Day 6:

Lily has joined mommy on bed rest. She came home from Grandma's house today with a temp of 101. My poor baby.

Bed Rest Day 7:

Snuggling waiting for Grandma to come and pick Lily up. I love that she still wants to snuggle with me.

Bed Rest Day 8:

Are we there yet?

Bed Rest Day 9:

Anxiously waiting for my husband and baby girl to come home. I am so lonely.

Bed Rest Day 10:

Midnight here, 9am in Germany. Talking to my best friend Becky on the phone.

Bed Rest Day 11:

Look who joined me on bed rest! Lily, Ezra, Grace, Audrey, and Laney on the phone. A bed full of Teschs!

Bed Rest Day 12:

I'm 34 weeks today. Only 3 more weeks and I'm off of bed rest!

Bed Rest Day 13:

My friend Sam keeping me company. I love that bed rest is bringing me closer to my friends. I hate not being able to do anyhting, but it sure is nice to have help from your friends when you need them the most.

Bed Rest Day 14:

This is what 2 weeks on bed rest looks like.

Bed Rest Day 15:

My maternity clothes are starting not to fit, thank God I married a big man whose clothes I can wear.

Bed Rest Day 16:

My mommy and I. I seriously would have been lost without her. She did all of our grocery shopping, cleaned the house, spent time watching Lily and taking her out to play. I love her so very much.

Bed rest Day 17:

Getting a little stir crazy. Can't wait to get out of this house for my baby shower tomorrow.

Bed Rest Day 18:

My baby shower was today. My friend Shirley drove 3.5 hours with her newborn baby girl Elise to visit with me. We were KISW Rock Girls together. it was so nice to catch up after all these years.

Bed Rest Day 19:

35 weeks. My mom is taking care of Lily and I at her house while my husband goes out on a man date.

Bed Rest Day 20:

Went into labor and delivery since I was having some really strong contractions. I loved eating the ice chips with syrup on it. Baby and I are doing great so back to bed rest for me.

Bed Rest Day 21:

I'm in so much pain today. Doctor thinks the baby may have bruised or cracked my rib.

Bed Rest Day 22:

Ultrasound Today! Jax is a nice big healthy boy who is kicking my liver. His feet looked soooo big!

Bed Rest Day 23:

My ribs hurt really bad. Ice makes it feel a little better.

Bed Rest Day 24:

It is really hard to take a belly picture laying down. Here I am 35 weeks 5 days. Bed Rest Day 25:

This baby is doing crazy things in my tummy, it really hurts!

Bed Rest Day 26:

Yes. I wear the same few shirts over and over again. Only a few things fit and not a lot is comfortable.

Bed Rest Day 28: I've moved back in with my mom since Brad works nights and I need help with myself and with Lily. Major back pain. I'm done now. Bed Rest Day 29: Only a few more days on bed rest and I'm free!!!! Measuring at 42 weeks with only 30 pounds of weight gain. Yikes. I think I'm having a big boy!

Bed Rest Day 30:

It's amazing how much better you feel after a shower. Ahhhhhh!
Bed Rest Day 31: Tomorrow is my last day on bed rest. I can't wait to meet our little boy.
